In this work we dwell on the convergences and divergences of thelexicon of the age in distinct peninsular and American modalities ofthe Spanish language based on a compared, diachronic and diatopicresearch. We analyse a corpus of historical texts (from the XVI to theXIX centuries) and an oral corpus (20th century), with samples of distinctdialects. Our purpose is to identify the more frequent adjectivesof age in the geolectos studied.
