Abstract
La imaginería dispersa en la textura verbal de La Celestina se organiza en cuatro niveles: el divino, el humano, el natural no humano y el infernal. El uso de las imágenes por Calisto y Melibea califica sus acciones: los enamorados comienzan hablando en el nivel celestial, pero al fin celebran su reunión en el nivel animal, y poco después caen para reunirse con la naturaleza inerte; también entran en contacto con lo infernal.
