Abstract
Although the work of Federico García Lorca has been widely studied, little has been said about the Poesía inédita de juventud. This article examine an important aspect of his early poetic production: the configuration of the forest in “La balada de Caperucita”. It hopes to show how this image is used to symbolize the young poet’s vision of human existence, one that is closely related to a particular interpretation of Christianity.
