Abstract
Dos poemas de igual tamaño, uno del siglo XVI, del belga Vanden Bussche (Sylvano) y el otro del siglo XX, de Pedro Salinas, proponen una suerte de enigma. En ambos se visualizan las letras del alfabeto, escritas ya por una pluma, ya por una máquina de escribir, como un conjunto de muchachas. Cada poema es elocuente de su momento cultural: el de Sylvano, del neoplatonismo cortesano, y el de Salinas, del interés coetáneo en el inconsciente.
