Abstract
This paper analyses an unpublished manuscript from XVIIth century property of L. Parent and now in the paremiologic collection at the Biblioteca Histórica Municipal of Madrid, Spain. The hand-written book contains three parts with 1 300 proverbs in Spanish and French languages, and some grammar appendix on spelling and pronunciation of French.
